The under-considered anglophone option

Ask for English-medium destinations and the same four answers repeat. South Africa rarely makes the list, yet Cape Town, Witwatersrand and Stellenbosch hold global research standing on merit, teach entirely in English, and price below the UK and US.   • Proof of funds

    Bank-certified statements for the last three months covering living costs, plus proof that the total tuition fee has been paid to the institution.

  • Medical insurance from a recognised scheme

    South African medical-scheme cover is the standard the permit expects.

  • Renewal discipline in-country

    Permits tie to programme duration with renewals through Home Affairs, deadline-bound.
