Where our visa facts come from, and how we keep them right.

1. Rule 1

   Official sources first, in this order

   • The immigration authority itself (IRCC, UKVI / GOV.UK, the Department of Home Affairs, Immigration New Zealand, the relevant ministry or consulate).
   • The official embassy or consulate for India, then the official government visa portal.
   • The official application partner (VFS Global, BLS, TLScontact) for centre, appointment and service-charge facts only.
   • Legislation and regulators for anything about our own licence and obligations.
   • A secondary source only where no official one exists, and then labelled as such. Competitor blogs are never a source.

2. Rule 2

   Every changing fact carries a date

   • Fees, proof-of-funds thresholds, processing times and appointment observations show when they were last verified against the official source.
   • Live data we pull automatically (IRCC processing times, exchange rates) is hidden, not shown as current, when the refresh fails or the value is stale.
   • VFS appointment dates on this site are checked by hand by our staff. They are observations, labelled with the time we looked, not a live feed — availability can change at any moment.
   • We never write "updated today" unless a person actually checked it that day.

3. Rule 3

   Interpretation is reviewed by a person

   • Structured facts — a fee, a date, an official URL — may be refreshed automatically from an official source.
   • Anything that interprets a rule — eligibility, what a refusal ground means, whether a document is sufficient, refusal strategy — is written or reviewed by a consultant of the firm before it is published.
   • Articles carry a named author from our team; where no individual wrote a page, the byline is the company, never an invented person.

4. Rule 4

   What we never publish

   • A guaranteed visa, a success rate, an approval percentage or any prediction of an officer’s decision.
   • Our own product grades the readiness of a file — Ready to file / Needs strengthening / Not ready to file — and says on every copy that it does not predict the authority’s decision. That product is the Visa File Readiness Report.
   • Statistics we cannot show the source for: no invented case counts, years of experience, offices or staff numbers.
   • Testimonials we did not receive. Ratings and review counts are read live from Google, not typed in.
   • Work-permit services. Work permits need a separate MEA Recruiting Agent licence which we do not hold; our work-permit pages are information only and say so at the top.

5. Rule 5

   How AI is and is not used

   • We use AI tools to draft, to check for contradictions across pages, and to power the on-site assistants and calculators.
   • Every immigration fact in AI-drafted text is checked against the official source before publication, and the on-site assistants are built so that they never predict an outcome or offer work-permit services.
   • The assistants say they are AI when asked.

6. Rule 6

   Corrections

   • Report an error to info@lifesetoverseas.com. We check it against the official source and correct the page — and the correction is noted on the page’s "updated" date.
   • Facts that turn out to be outdated are replaced, not quietly deleted; where a rule changed, the page says what changed and when.
   • Automated checks run before every deployment to catch retired phone numbers, addresses, prices, product names and hours anywhere on the site or in its database.
