Choosing a consultant · 22 things to compare
Twenty-two questions. Our answer to every one is something you can check.
This is not a list of things rivals do wrong — we cannot verify that, so we will not claim it. It is a list of what is worth comparing before you hand anyone your passport and your family's bank statements, with our answer beside each. Every one of ours is a licence on a public register, a price on this website, or a person with a name.
Worth watching for. Practices that exist in this trade — not a claim about any particular firm.
What we do. Each one verifiable today, without taking our word for it.
The standard we hold
We would rather lose the sale than file a file that will not stand up.
Five rules we work to. None of them is a claim about how good we are — each is a decision that costs us money, which is the only kind of promise worth reading.
We will tell you no
If your file is not ready, we say so and we say what to fix. A weak application filed today is a refusal on your record for years.
We find the actual reason
Refused already? We pull the officer’s own notes where that route exists, instead of guessing from the tick-boxes on the letter.
Read against real files
Your case is checked against the patterns we see across the applications we actually prepare — not a checklist copied off the internet.
Your papers get destroyed
Watermarked to one case on arrival, never reused, and deleted on request once the decision is in. Sponsors can ask us directly.
We refuse work we cannot license
We do not process work permits. That needs an MEA Recruiting Agent licence we do not hold, and saying so loses us enquiries every week.
We never promise an outcome
No guarantees, no success rates, no contacts inside. The decision belongs to the visa officer, and anyone telling you otherwise is selling you a story.
The question almost nobody asks
Where do your documents actually end up?
A passport scan, six months of bank statements and an ITR are everything somebody needs to impersonate you. Most applicants hand all three to a stranger and never ask what happens next. Here is our answer, drawn out — and a sponsor abroad can ask for the deletion themselves.
Step 1
Sent straight to us
The sponsor or applicant uploads directly to the consultant on the case — not to an agent’s personal phone.
Step 2
Watermarked on arrival
Every page is stamped to one named case before it is stored, so a copy cannot be reused for another application.
Step 3
Opened only for that case
Access is logged. A sponsor’s bank statements are never visible to the applicant they are supporting.
Step 4
Destroyed on request
Once the decision is in, ask us and the file is deleted — and we confirm the deletion in writing.
Sponsors, this part is for you. Your bank statements go to the consultant, not to the applicant, and they are never visible to the person you are sponsoring. You can ask for them to be destroyed yourself.

All twenty-two, on one line each.
Left is what is worth watching for in this trade. Right is what we do, and every one of ours can be checked without asking us.
A framed certificate on the wall, or no number offered at all.
Licence No. 849/DC/PTA/PLA/LC-3/2024, on the DC Patiala register. Check it against us.
A trading name with no company behind it, and no CIN or GST anywhere.
A private limited company. CIN, GSTIN and PAN are printed in our footer.
A number that moves, or an office address that turns out to be a desk.
Shop No. 2, near PRTC Workshop, Nabha Road, Patiala. Walk in and check the signboard.
“Our team of experts”, with no individual willing to be named.
Two directors named on the licence, and the consultant who holds your file.
A firm that says yes to everything, including work it is not licensed for.
We do NOT process work permits — that needs an MEA licence we do not hold.
A price quoted on the phone that depends on how keen you sound.
Every fee is on the pricing page before you contact us. Same price for everyone.
A single figure with no breakdown, so extras appear later.
All-in, GST included, with embassy and VFS fees shown separately at cost.
Embassy fees bundled into the quote, marked up, and non-refundable.
Passed through at cost. You pay the mission what the mission charges.
“Fifty percent off today only.” A real fee does not halve because you hesitated.
No discounts, no was-now pricing. One published number.
A second full fee to reapply for the case they prepared.
We rebuild and refile at the same fixed fee.
The person who signs you up is not the person who prepares the file.
One consultant end to end. You know the name.
Every file is “strong”, because a weak file is still a sale.
We say “strengthen this first” when that is the answer. It costs us the sale.
Advice given across a desk and never put in writing.
A written report on your own file, so you can act on it with or without us.
A template SOP with your name pasted in, recognisable within a paragraph.
Your draft, edited. We will not invent a story you then have to defend.
“Guaranteed visa”, “100% success”, “our contacts inside”. All of it is a lie.
Nobody can promise a visa. The decision is the officer’s, always.
A guess at why you were refused, based on the tick-boxes in the letter.
We obtain the officer’s own notes where that route exists, so we fix what it names.
A checklist downloaded from the internet, the same one for every applicant.
Your file is read against the patterns we see across the cases we actually file.
Photos of your passport on a personal phone, or a shared drive nobody owns.
Uploaded straight to the consultant on your case. Not through an agent’s phone.
A clean scan of your bank statement that can be reused anywhere.
Every page is watermarked to one named case before it is stored.
Whoever has the folder link.
Access is logged. A sponsor’s papers are never visible to the applicant.
Kept indefinitely, because nobody ever decided to delete anything.
Deleted on request once the decision is made, and we confirm it in writing.
An uncle’s bank statements sitting in a WhatsApp thread forever.
Sponsors send documents directly and can ask for deletion themselves.
What you were quoted
What actually leaves your account
- Consultant fee
- Embassy fee
- VFS / centre charge
- Insurance
- Getting there
Proportions are illustrative — the point is the shape, not the split. Every real figure we charge is published on our pricing page.
Each handover is a place where a detail from your first conversation quietly stops travelling with the file.
Nothing is re-explained, and there is one name to ask for when you ring.
Both models exist in this trade. Ask which one you are buying before you pay.
- 1Same file, lightly edited
- 2Same ground, unaddressed
- 3A second full fee
- 4A second refusal on your record
- 1Read the refusal letter properly
- 2Request the officer’s own notes
- 3Fix the ground it actually names
- 4Refile — at the same fixed fee
Nobody can promise the outcome of either road. The difference is whether you are working from the officer's reason or from a guess.
This is the question almost nobody asks, and the one with the longest consequences.
Straight answers
- How do I check a visa consultant’s licence in Punjab?
- Ask for the licence number and the issuing office, then check it with that office. Ours is No. 849/DC/PTA/PLA/LC-3/2024, issued by the Office of the District Magistrate, Patiala. A consultant who will not give you a number is telling you something.
- Can any consultant guarantee a visa?
- No. The decision belongs to the visa officer at the mission. Anyone offering a guaranteed visa, a 100% success rate or “contacts inside” is describing something that does not exist, and it is one of the clearest signs of a fraud.
- What happens to my documents after my visa application is filed?
- With us: every page is watermarked to your one named case, access is logged, and the file is deleted on request once the decision is made — confirmed to you in writing. Ask any consultant this question before you hand anything over.
- My sponsor is abroad and worried about sending bank statements. What do you do?
- Sponsors send their documents directly to the consultant rather than through the applicant, so their financial papers are never visible to the person they are sponsoring. They can request deletion themselves after the decision.
- Do you charge again if my visa is refused?
- No. We read the refusal, obtain the officer’s notes where that route exists, and rebuild the application at the same fixed fee. What we will not do is refile the same file and hope.
