Canada Super Visa help for Samana parents and grandparents, run from Patiala

Your son or daughter is settled in Canada, and you want to be with them for years, not a two-week tourist trip. The Super Visa is built for exactly that — a multiple-entry visa that lets a parent or grandparent stay up to five years at a stretch. We build the two things that decide it: your child's income proof against the LICO minimum, and a properly purchased CAD 100,000 medical insurance policy. There is no Lifeset office in Samana; you are looked after from our licensed Patiala office, about 30 km up the Nabha road.

For applicants in Samana & nearby

Samana sits in the Malwa farm belt about 30 km south-west of Patiala, a tehsil town where families measure a good year by the mandi rate and the J-form, not by a monthly salary slip. Plenty of Samana households have a son or daughter who reached Canada on a study permit and is now a PR or citizen, and the parents left behind want more than a fortnight's holiday visa — they want to spend real time with grandchildren. That is the Super Visa's whole purpose, and it turns on the host in Canada, not on you: your child must show income that clears the Low Income Cut-Off for their family size counting you in, and you must purchase a full year of CAD 100,000 medical cover before you apply. We are a licensed consultancy — Govt of Punjab Form-II licence No. 849/DC/PTA/PLA/LC-3/2024, valid to 22 July 2029 — working from Shop No. 2, near PRTC Workshop, Nabha Road, Patiala. To be plain about it: we have no shopfront in Samana. You come to Patiala, or we do most of the file over WhatsApp and phone on +91 91155 80911, in Punjabi, Hindi or English.

What we do for you

Handled end to end, by one consultant.

Read your child's income against LICO first

Before anything else we look at the host — your son or daughter in Canada — and check their income for their family size, counting the visiting parents in that count. The LICO figure changes with family size and updates over time, so we confirm the current number with you rather than quoting one here, and we point you to the Super Visa income calculator to see where the household stands. If the income is short, we tell you that straight, before a rupee is spent on the application.

Get the invitation letter written properly

IRCC wants a signed letter from the host promising financial support, stating who lives in the home and confirming they will look after you during the stay. A vague letter causes questions; we draft it with your child so it says exactly what the officer needs and matches the income documents behind it.

Arrange the CAD 100,000 insurance the right way

The policy must give at least CAD 100,000 in coverage, run at least one year from the day you enter, and cover health care, hospitalisation and repatriation — and it has to be bought, not quoted. It can now come from a Canadian insurer or an approved insurer outside Canada. We make sure the policy actually meets the floor and that proof of purchase, not a quotation, goes into the file.

Build the funds story a farming household can defend

Where a salaried family shows pay slips, a Samana household usually shows land papers, J-form and mandi receipts, and the child's Canadian income. We help present all of it so the money picture is consistent and believable, and so agricultural income reads as the genuine, stable source it is rather than looking unexplained.

Prepare the medical exam and the Chandigarh biometrics

A Super Visa needs an upfront medical from a panel physician, and biometrics for every Canada case are given at the VFS Global centre in Chandigarh. We line up the sequence — forms, medical, insurance purchase, submission and the biometrics appointment — so nothing is done out of order and you make the Chandigarh trip only once.

Why Samana applicants choose us

A licensed office, not an agent's back room

We hold a Government of Punjab consultancy licence (Form-II No. 849/DC/PTA/PLA/LC-3/2024, valid to 22 July 2029) and work from a real address in Patiala. You can check the number, meet the people, and keep one point of contact through the whole file.

We understand the farm-income file

Samana applications lean on J-form, land records and mandi income far more than on salary slips. We are used to assembling and explaining that kind of proof, so the host and applicant funds hang together instead of raising doubts.

One line, your languages, fixed hours

The same number is voice and WhatsApp — +91 91155 80911 — and we work in Punjabi, Hindi and English, Monday to Saturday, 10am to 6pm. Most of a Super Visa file can be done from Samana over phone and WhatsApp, with one planned visit to Patiala or Chandigarh.

What we do not do

We do not process work permits — that needs a separate MEA Recruiting Agent licence we do not hold — and we do not run IELTS or PTE coaching. And no honest consultant can promise a Super Visa: the decision belongs to the visa officer at IRCC alone. What we control is that your file is complete, truthful and correctly built.

What to gather before your first sitting with us

  • Your passport (the parent or grandparent applying), valid with blank pages
  • Proof your child in Canada is a citizen or PR — passport, PR card or citizenship certificate
  • Your child's income proof: recent Notice of Assessment, employment letter and pay records for their family size
  • The signed invitation letter from your child, naming who lives in the household
  • Proof of relationship — birth certificate or family record linking you to your child in Canada
  • Your Samana funds papers: land records, J-form, mandi receipts, and bank statements
  • Details for the CAD 100,000 medical insurance to be purchased (policy to be bought before filing)
  • Any earlier Canada or other visa refusals, with the letters, so nothing is hidden

We send you a tailored checklist for your exact case when you get in touch.

FAQs

Is there a Lifeset office in Samana?
No. Our only licensed office is in Patiala — Shop No. 2, near PRTC Workshop, Nabha Road, about 30 km from Samana. Anyone claiming a Lifeset branch in Samana is not us. You are welcome to come to Patiala, or run most of the Super Visa file with us over phone and WhatsApp on +91 91155 80911.
Can you guarantee my parents will get the Super Visa?
No, and be careful of anyone who says they can. The decision rests solely with the IRCC visa officer. Our job is to make sure the host income clears LICO, the CAD 100,000 insurance is genuinely purchased, and the file is complete and truthful — that is what gives an honest application its best standing, but a guarantee is not something any real consultant can give.
How much does my child in Canada need to earn?
There is a minimum income — the Low Income Cut-Off, or LICO — that the host must meet for their family size, counting the visiting parents in that number. It varies by family size and is updated, so we confirm the current figure with you rather than print a number that may go stale. You can also check where the household stands using the Super Visa income calculator.
How long can my parents stay in Canada on a Super Visa?
The Super Visa can be valid for up to ten years as a multiple-entry visa, and since 2022 a parent or grandparent may stay up to five years per visit, with extensions possible from inside Canada. That is the point of it — years with the family, not the short stay a normal visitor visa gives.
Is a quote for the medical insurance enough?
No. IRCC will not accept a quotation — the policy has to be actually bought, with at least CAD 100,000 coverage, valid for at least one year from your entry date, and covering health care, hospitalisation and repatriation. It can be from a Canadian insurer or an approved insurer outside Canada. We make sure proof of purchase goes into the file.
Where do we give biometrics and the medical?
Biometrics for every Canada case are given at the VFS Global centre in Chandigarh, and the Super Visa also needs an upfront medical from an approved panel physician. We sequence the whole thing — forms, medical, insurance purchase and submission — so you plan the Chandigarh trip once and do the steps in the right order.
