Romania's process has one feature that surprises everyone: your university admission is not the key document. The Letter of Acceptance to Studies, issued by Romania's Education Ministry on the university's application, is — and no visa file exists without it. The practical consequence: the university's competence at obtaining Letters IS part of your application, and the Ministry queue, not the embassy, sets your timeline.
The value case, stated plainly
Romania offers an EU degree — one that travels across the bloc's recognition machinery — at tuition and living costs that undercut western Europe dramatically. English-taught programmes span engineering, business, IT and medicine. For students priced out of Germany's living costs or the West's tuition, it is a genuinely rational choice rather than a compromise.

A large share of Indian interest in Romania is medical. The universities are real and old; the degrees are EU-recognised. But whether you can practise in India afterwards is decided by the National Medical Commission's rules and screening examinations in force when you graduate — machinery that has been rewritten before and will move again. We state what exists today, we point you at the NMC's current notifications, and we never promise a recognition outcome. Any consultancy that guarantees one is selling you a future it does not control. That is not caution for its own sake — it is the difference between advice and bait.
Paper first, always
Romanian files run on apostilled documents and clean money trails: legalised certificates, tuition receipts, funds with history. None of it is difficult; all of it is sequential — apostilles queue at the MEA, the Letter queues at the Ministry, and both queues are longest exactly when the October intake approaches. The whole strategy is starting early enough that queues are boring instead of fatal.
