Italy Employment Visa — overview

The Italy Employment Visa is a long-stay Type D visa for subordinate work — that is, working in Italy for an Italian employer. The process is employer-driven: the Italian employer applies for a Nulla Osta al Lavoro (work authorisation) through the Sportello Unico, within Italy's annual Decreto Flussi quota, before any visa application is made.

This page is provided for awareness only. Lifeset Overseas does not process work-related visas — they fall under a separate licensing regime. If your aim is to build a future in Italy, a study visa with a graduate pathway, or a permanent-residency route in another country, is often the stronger and fully supportable plan. We are glad to talk it through honestly with you.
